About Wyoming

Wyoming is the least populated state in the nation and tenth largest. The low population could be due to the rugged geography, as two-third of the state is covered in mountains and hills from the Rocky Mountains. The remaining third of the state is covered by the High Plains. Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park are both encompassed in “The Cowboy State,” in addition to many recreational areas, national monuments, historic landmarks, famous trails, and wildlife refuges. The capital and largest city of Wyoming is Cheyenne, recognized for its museums, leisure areas, historic landmarks and railroads.
