Nursing at Salish Kootenai College

Overview of Salish Kootenai College's Nursing Programs

Located on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana, Salish Kootenai College was founded as a Native American tribal college. Salish Kootenai College exists to provide education to Native American tribes, but students of all ethnicities and backgrounds are welcomed. All three nursing programs offered are intended to prepare students for jobs in a rural setting and Native American community. While some courses are tailored towards Native American health practices, the ASN and BSN programs prepare students for the all-encompassing NCLEX-RN examination.
