Nursing at Capital University

Capital University is a Great Place to Earn Your Nursing Degree

Founded in 1830, Capital University is both the oldest university in Central Ohio, as well as the oldest Lutheran university in the country. The university’s commitment to liberal arts education is evident in the Department of Nursing, where students are offered a well-rounded educational experience, studying religion, philosophy, and human relations along with the traditional nursing curriculum. Capital offers a variety of tracks towards achieving a baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing, including two completion programs and three dual degree programs. Capital University students also have access to world-class technology and learning tools at the Helene Fuld Health Trust Learning Resources Laboratory, where students can hone in their technical skills with hands-on experiences.
