Wright State University’s College of Nursing and Health was founded in 1973, offering the first baccalaureate nursing program in Dayton, Ohio and its surrounding communities. Today, the WSU College of Nursing offers several opportunities to begin or progress one’s career in professional nursing. The BEACON program is an accelerated degree program specifically designed for students who have already achieved a bachelor’s degree in another area of study who wish to enter into a career in nursing.
