Overview of University of South Carolina
As South Carolina’s first nationally accredited baccalaureate nursing program, established in 1957, the University of South Carolina’s College of Nursing is a leader in nursing education in the region. In addition to offering degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the college’s faculty also operates a community clinic in an effort to being quality health care services to underserved and low-income neighborhoods in the surrounding area. Most courses required in the graduate-level programs curriculum are available online, providing additional flexibility for students.
