As the state’s oldest university, the University of South Dakota is located in the small town of Vermillion, just along the Mississippi River. The university offers over 130 undergraduate programs, in addition to 65 graduate degree programs. USD’s School of Health Sciences offers several tracks for students looking to begin or progress a career in nursing at the Associate or Bachelor level. The BSN program is currently offered at the Vermillion and Sioux Falls campuses, with Rapid City expected to admit students in Fall 2014.
