Union University is a private liberal arts university located in Jackson, Tennessee. Founded in 1823, Union is the oldest institution in the country with a Southern Baptist affiliation. Union’s mission is to “provide Christ-centered education that promotes excellence and character development in service to church and society.” Union University’s School of Nursing offers an excellent professional nursing education with a “Spirit of Christian Service.” In recent years, Union students have found 100 percent job placement following the completion of programs at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
