Originally founded in 1897 as a teacher training institution, Southern Utah University has grown to become one of the state’s premier liberal arts and research universities. Comprised of four colleges and two schools for undergraduate education, SUU offers numerous areas of study, including nursing. The Walter Maxwell Gibson College of Science and Engineering at SUU offers students two tracks toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing: the traditional BSN program and the RN to BSN completion program.
