Utah Valley University has its roots in the early 1940s as the nation recovered from the depression, providing workers with vocational training in order to keep or obtain employment following the war. Today, UVU continues to educate students with a philosophy of “engaged learning,” emphasizing hands-on learning experiences. The UVU College of Science in Health offers a variety of nursing degree options, including associate, bachelor’s, and master’s level programs.
