Nursing at Norwich University

Norwich University is a Great Place to Earn a Nursing Degree

Originally founded in 1819 as “The American Literary, Scientific, and Military Academy,” Norwich University has a rich legacy dedicated to the “American System of Education,” the educational principles constructed by its founder, Alden Partridge. These principles, and therefore Norwich University, serve as the root of the current liberal arts education philosophy, providing students with a broad, well-rounded and thought-provoking education from a global perspective. The Norwich student body is comprised of the Corps of Cadets and traditional civilian students. While cadets adhere to a structured lifestyle as part of their military education, civilians and cadets attend the same classes, play on the same sports teams, and participate in the same extracurricular activities.
