Founded in 1881 by Bishop Martin J. Henni as a private Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher education, Marquette University carries on the tradition and mission of educating both the mind and heart of each of its students. The university’s College of Nursing has an over one hundred year legacy of educating nurses.
