Marian University Accelerated Nursing Programs

Marian University Nursing Programs

Marian University is a Catholic university focused on advancing Franciscan values within a liberal arts education. They offer traditional and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs as well as a Doctor of Nursing Practice program.

Marian University's 16-month program has a transfer track for the Indianapolis location and a second-degree option available at both locations. This program has start dates in January, May, and August, so no matter when you decide to go back to nursing school, you’ll be able to get started soon.

Marian University’s ABSN program, designed to set its graduates up for success with the NCLEX, contains three components: online coursework, in-person skills and simulations labs, and clinical rotations. While completing online coursework, students can learn on their own schedules through a dynamic e-learning platform that accommodates visual, aural, tactile, and social learners. The nursing labs portion of the program allows for more hands-on learning with the opportunity to work with real medical equipment and lifelike medical manikins.

During your clinical rotations in Indianapolis and Nashville, you will be working with Ascension, one of the leading heath care systems in the nation.
